Well look at that.Tumblr doesn’t realize that there are tons of games where you play as colored people, gays, and so on.
Hell, in Skyrim, Fable series, Oblivion, Dragon Age II… So many more.
I mean seriously, you are NOT being overlooked. They just want to appeal to more people and making games about a gay person about being gay would not attract many sales at all, it would also most likely destroy a company. THAT is why you are not given the exacts of what you want.

I am not trying to be mean, I am not being anti-anything. I just want the people of Tumblr to stop thinking everyone is after them or withholding material because of a certain lifestyle.

That’s a cool list, but, er, how long would the list of straight/cis characters in video games be? And how many of those characters listed are actually treated like characters (or are playable!) instead of jokes? That list has fucking Birdo on it. Do you really think we should shut up because there’s our great representation of a trans character?
Yes how uppity of me for thinking this game is a nifty idea, I should just hush up and settle for what there is now! Talim in Soul Calibur is Filipino, so clearly that should take care of any desire of mine for ethnicity in a video game (because screw those other guys, I got mine), and lesbians… pah, I’m sure there’s plenty of those too, games gotta have eye candy for the real audience!
But hey how else are you gonna get money from these gullible morons, right? Slap some some of that “social justice” bullshit on there about how the game’s being made by these sillies who dare to want games to treat them like characters that aren’t the sideshow they so clearly are and they’ll just fork over the money!
I just want to point out two things in the original post:
Mention of the Fable series as part of equal representation (lol u rong), 3 other games, and a magically “so many more”.
