My friend is in need of a signal boost!
My friend Kathryn has five children, including G/G/B triplets Lily, Coy and Max. All three were born perfectly healthy, on time (!!) and even all natural at home with the care of a team of EMTs and several midwives. It was an amazing, beautiful experience and they were an incredible arrival. Unfortunately, when they were four months old the triplets contracted RSV. While they weren’t premature and technically not at risk, what they didn’t know is that Lily’s immune system didn’t work as well… and while her two siblings recovered from the sniffles fine, she didn’t. She suffered a severe anoxic brain injury that almost killed her. It has left her unable to walk, talk, and even blind for years before gradually starting to recover some sight.
She is extremely fragile and has broken bones simply from being moved. Traveling is uncomfortable and even dangerous for her as a result of this, and they desperately need a wheelchair van.In addition to Lily’s medical needs, two of her siblings have autism and there is a constant stream of doctor appointments and places to go, making her life even more difficult.
They’ve entered a contest that may win them a wheelchair van if they get enough votes. The contest is open for 30 days and you can vote once a day, inputting a code that can get them more votes. If you can, please consider taking a moment to read more about Lily’s story and help my friend get a wheelchair van that they so desperately need. The van would not only make Lily’s life considerably easier and safer, but would also give her the chance to finally go to school like her siblings.
Thanks.
[ Read about Lily and vote for her here ] (it says Kathryn Mathis, that’s my friend/Lily’s mom’s name and it was put up in error).
Use the code, “801” to give her additional votes. :) THANK YOU!
