Apparently, suffering through being raped, watching your rapists be acquitted of rape- backed by the entire NYPD and New York judicial system- and being called a liar for being brave enough to come forward is not enough. Now the victim in this case is being denied the right to make a statement at her rapist’s sentencing and is allegedly “not the victim, here. The city is”. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THE WORLD.
