1644. How do ppl know for a fact that both Antonia and Iwan decided to leave the show? Since the revelation came about that Superhoodie was Future Simon (in S2) and he told her that he went back in time for her b/c she dies, I think it was pretty much a done deal. It was gonna happen. They could’ve dragged it along all the way, but they were going to have to fulfill that prophecy and have Alisha die. It had nothing to do with the actors lol.

They’ve both been clear for a while now that they were looking to capitalize on the attention they got from Misfits & use that boost to open up other avenues. Frankly I’m surprised any of the original cast is left for season 4.

 
 

1613. I think Antonia decided to jump ship, then Iwan. I can’t blame Antonia either. Overman’s writing was shit for her character.

I do wonder (given how often it has been mention that they are good friends), if it was a mutual decision presented to the writers before the filming of S3. That’s the only reason I can see for the inexplicable focus on everything but their backstories this last season. Even the ep that was about Simon wasn’t really about him so much as it was about setting up the story to explain the continuation of the loop.

 
 

1577. I don’t understand how it makes me a “bad fan” if I don’t want to watch Misfits next season because Antonia and Iwan left. The reason why I loved the show was because I loved the dynamics that the original Asbo 5 had together. With Robert leaving it was sort of admissible because I do like Joe’s character to some capacity but Antonia and Iwan means that only two of the original cast members are left and I love Lauren and Nathan, but I feel like what made the show so wonderful is now lost.

I find it hilarious that people think being a good fan includes watching a show after the producers have completely changed the cast & thus the show dynamics. Not to mention no one owes a TV show a damned thing, including their time or attention.
