1751. Well, I was right. Alisha’s death was all about Simon’s man pain. How horrible that was for Alisha wasn’t explored at all.
I still need to know why Alisha never really got an ep that was about her & her feelings.

The fact that he could see everything but the important stuff & that her power was basically useless all season are a large part of why I’m pretty much done with the show. I didn’t need her to stay alive or for Simon not to go back, but the show absolutely needs to have some kind of internal consistency to be worth watching.
They’ve both been clear for a while now that they were looking to capitalize on the attention they got from Misfits & use that boost to open up other avenues. Frankly I’m surprised any of the original cast is left for season 4.
I did wonder why he didn’t just go back & warn them about the ghost with the boxcutter. That would have made more sense than recreating the loop.
Actually I think it’s kind of foolish. But I don’t subscribe to the loop being inevitable & unbreakable theory.
Yes. I just watched the last ep & for an entire season to be scripted to end this way I feel like the writing choices blunted the impact of what was meant to be a powerful story.

But that ep was just about saving Simon. We barely got anything about Alisha’s life out of it & the little bit we did get was her pain & fear at the prospect of losing Simon. I’m all for the one true love thing, but Alisha had a whole life before she got community service. Where’s the follow up to that? We see Curtis post girlfriend & post running career, we saw why Nate’s a mess, we saw Kelly’s ex as well as the girl she had a fight with, hell we even got to see Simon show up the kid that picked on him with the social worker. The closest Alisha’s gotten has been brief moments in eps about other people.
