A/N: If you haven’t seen (or heard) Jeremy Renner singing “American Pie” from Love Comes for the Executioner you need to. Youtube search “Lovely Jeremy Renner singing” and watch it. I’ll wait here. Back? Good. The lyrics in this have been tweaked to match how he sings it there because I was totally listening to the audio file on repeat when I wrote this. Doesn’t help that the cd in my car has it after “A Promise” from the movie score, so I have this image of Clint and Natasha asleep in bed and then her waking up to him singing.
