1759. I’m pissed that Simon’s precognition power activated for Rudy’s STD adventure but not Alisha’s death. Even if he had been shown one possible future and his attempt to change that got her killed it would have made sense. His power was worthless.

misfitsconfessions:

The fact that he could see everything but the important stuff & that her power was basically useless all season are a large part of why I’m pretty much done with the show. I didn’t need her to stay alive or for Simon not to go back, but the show absolutely needs to have some kind of internal consistency to be worth watching.

1648. I’m currently re-watching the show and I’ve realized that Nathan really wasn’t all that much better than Rudy even though they are so different.

kyssthis16:

I don’t agree with this, but I can dig it. Rudy lost all appeal when he sexually assaulted Girl!Curtis while she was drugged and passed out. Yeah, say what you will about Nathan, but he wasn’t that kind of asshole. Sorry.

There’s a lot about Rudy that was off putting from the very first ep & their attempts to cram him down viewer’s throats really didn’t help. At least with Nathan we got some back story to explain why he had issues. Rudy just comes off as a whiny little shit head with no home training.

1302. I’m so annoyed that Alisha didn’t get her own episode this series. It feels like the writers have forgotten her and just linked her with Simon for everything. Curtis, Rudy and Kelly all got their own episodes this series and Simons is next week - the last episode. Even Seth got his own episode.

1124. I think this episode was supposed to espouse some personal growth for Rudy, but I was really bored. Most of the plot important pieces were shoved into the last five minutes.

The more they try to make me like Rudy the less interested I am in him. Partly because the writing for his character is such shit (that whole, “Is it really rape?” conversation wasn’t at all endearing), & partly because the show is just trying to hard to get me as invested as I was in Nathan.

1084. I imagine lots of fast-forwarding this Sunday. Literally anything sounds better than an episode dedicated to Rudy trying to shake a “super powered STD”.

Is this person someone I follow? Cause they sound like it might be. Which is to say, I agree.

Why are they bothering with this mess? This sounds like a total wasted ep. So we get more Rudy time and they have yet to do an ep focused on Alisha…REALLY? This show is about to fall into the same place Glee has in my book.

So, this ep appears to be all about Rudy & Curtis. Both of whom have already had an ep this season. Kelly’s had two, Simon’s had one (in which Alisha participated, but she wasn’t the focus), & we still get no back story for her or even an Alisha centric ep that isn’t about her sex life? Mmkay, I’m definitely sick of this bullshit.

1038. I hope we hear more about Rudy’s suicide attempt and his past with Alisha.

Ugh no. It’s Nice Guy + Slut Shaming which can only lead to more misogynyistic BS on the show & from fandom. Give Alisha more of a back story that doesn’t revolve her sex life please.

765. I like the fact Rudy is more mature then Nathan.

Is he though?

How is he?

By having a sad alter-ego, clearly.

I really dislike Rudy.

He is irritating the hell out of me.

631. I think I ship Rudy/Curtis.

masteradept:

*vomits* I ship Rudy with a shallow grave.

Yes!
