So many great Victorian-era symbols in this. Ostentatious hats, ferns, enormous mustaches, random wind instruments…

Myself and Andrew, my twin (and partner in crime) Im not sure I could be pulling a dorkier face here if I tried but I do love the make up, it was done by my good friend Cissy.
We were at Anti Christ Club night for their Halloween party (one we had over our favourite season). I am wearing a floor length dress from Asos and Andrew is wearing a corset from a store in Camden and leather trousers from Sai Sai again in Camden. His collar is from ebay. Oh and the flowers in my hair were from Wilkinsons.
I figure we should explain that this is how we ended up convincing most of our friends (goth and none goth alike) that our current lifestyle was a lot of fun and that they should try it.  A few have started to come now, starting with Slimelight (an industrial goth club in Angel) as a first step into the scene.
What is more fun is that I have now become some form of gothic stylist for my friends. They come to me with an outfit in mind/style or an event and I find what they are after at their budget.  This is mostly done in person and online, often between camden and wonderful websites online (post to follow).
This has now spread to more friends asking me about gothic style and other styles relating to gothic in general (steampunk, victorian, lolita, cyber etc) as events come up and even for general shopping trips, not to mention the large number of people I have ‘converted’ to corset shopping.  I think in the next month I have 5 peoples outfits to help out with, two of which are guys! This will also be Andrews first stylist trip that are not only for corsets or us two shopping together. All I have to say is that I am very excited!!

Yo, any of my followers wanna explain to these folks why appropriating calavera makeup is completely not fucking on?

Don’t think a thong would lift  the weight of some of todays enormous wearers.

Victorians are the craziest.
